Job Description:
The Sales Director is an individual seller responsible for
prospecting and closing sales in GumGum's Market Leading
Advertising platform. Reporting to the Group Sales Director, this
role is responsible for leading and developing key relationships in
the allocated region to drive real value for our clients through
GumGum products, specifically this role will have a core focus in
the LA region.
Sales Directors have a deep knowledge of the online media
landscape, the advertising community, and have 5 years of proven
media sales experience. The Sales Director is a self-motivated
leader who can work with internal teams and is committed to
achieving and exceeding sales goals while growing GumGum's products
in their allocated region.
Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or 'work
from home' as there isn't a nearby office. However, GumGum is
excited to only consider applicants residing in the local area

all of the following: client interaction, team interaction,
timezone, etc.
What You'll Achieve
- Revenue Growth: Drive $5M+ annually for West Coast through
partnerships with agencies, with a focus on tech &
telecom.
- Sales Prospecting: Generate sales through cold calling,
presentations, and RFPs; leverage marketing-driven leads.
- Client Upsell & Market Insight: Upsell key brands and agencies
on display solutions; provide client insights to support product
rollouts.
- Team Leadership: Oversee a Midwest sales team, foster an
inclusive culture, manage recruitment, development, and
performance, translating goals into actionable outcomes.
- Client Relationships: Build strategic relationships with
brands, agencies, and clients, translating client needs to internal
teams.
- Internal Collaboration: Ensure smooth proposal execution with
Account Managers and internal teams.
- Strategic Sales Support: Assist SVP, Sales for the West Region,
in strategic sales initiatives.
Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's in Media, Marketing, or Advertising
- 5+ years in digital advertising sales; managing $4M+ book of
business
- Proven sales team leadership with programmatic experience
preferred
- Proficient in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical
skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with a high sense of
urgency
What We Offer
At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from ($124,000-$147,000) annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.
The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
