OCED is a multi-technology office responsible for overseeing more than $20B of investment in large scale demonstrations in emerging technologies such as clean hydrogen, carbon capture, advanced nuclear reactors, grid-scale energy storage, industrial emissions reductions as well as demonstrations in rural and socioeconomically disadvantaged regions. We are looking for individuals with a range of skills and interest in large-scale clean energy demonstration projects, particularly in renewable systems, carbon capture and removal, hydrogen, and nuclear energy technologies.
The Engagement, Facilitation, and Logistics Analyst will perform research, analysis, and recommend ways to improve efficiency.

  Gathers and organizes information about the problems to be solved or the procedures to be improved.

  Interviews personnel and conducts onsite observations to determine the methods, equipment's, and personnel that will be needed.
  
  
• 
  Analyzes financial and other data, including revenue, expenditure, and employment reports.
  
  
• 
  Develops solutions and/or alternative practices.
  
  
• 
  Recommends new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  
  
• 
  Makes recommendations to management through presentations and/or written reports.
  
  
• 
  Confers with managers to ensure changes are working.
  
  
  REQUIREMENTS

  • 
    Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related experience or a master's degree plus 3 years of related experience.
    
    
  • 
    Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
    
    
  • 
    Clean Energy experience desired but not required.
    
    
  • 
    Remote position on eastern time zone.
    
    
  • 
    Experience in DOE environment is preferred.
    
    
    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.--- Work is mostly sedentary in nature but will require periodic standing and walking and lifting.--- Must have good vision and be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.---
