Job Description:
Summary
Plan, organize, deploy, and control activities related to the
operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall
warehousing and distribution operations. Including, order
fulfillment, warehousing, parts delivery, and transportation,
including cross border transportation within North America. Develop
metrics and set performance targets at the team and individual
level for all distribution-related functions that align with
company objectives. Ensures all warehouse operations adhere to
industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, or other
governmental regulations.
Salary range: $83,321.25 - $138,868.75
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Manage and support inventory targets (Kanban safety stock, vehicle
inventory, remote warehouse), develop metrics and communicate
inventory measurements to management.
Design, implement, and control material handling procedures to
achieve 99+% inventory accuracy.
Ensure periodic cycle counts for warehouses and vehicles are
completed and the results of the cycle count are recorded.
Manage the annual physical inventory process.
Create proper inventory control procedures at all asset
locations.
Ensure that the warehouse is safe and clean.
All parts and equipment are safely stored in their allocated
location.
Design, implement, manage, and monitor Warehouse and Logistics KPI
reporting.
Maximize usage of Data Warehouse and Power BI to improve
efficiency, automate processes and generate relevant metric driven
reports.
Organize, direct, and train the daily, weekly, monthly work of
warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, storing, packing, and
delivering supplies, parts, and equipment.
Control aging inventories and arrange for disposal of surplus
materials.
Oversee all logistics activities including inbound freight,
outbound freight, returns, and drop shipments.
Coordinate with 3PL to ensure all shipping practices align with
company requirements in support of our Customers, Operational
Technicians and Vendors.
Create and maintain SOX compliant documentation and operating
procedures for all warehouse and shipping activities.
Supervise, motivate, and train employees to create a positive and
safe working environment.
Maximize productivity, ascertain security of the building and
inventory, and ensure that activities are conducted in accordance
with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Research, identify, and champion ongoing improvements in the
warehouse layout and material movements as well as cost reduction
measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
without adverse impact to the company's overall objectives, or
customer satisfaction
Provide the organization clear performance expectations and
accountability to meet on time delivery and receiving
requirements.
Work cross functionally with other company departments, and
logistics service providers to insure timely and efficient
execution of inbound and outbound activities.
Ensure compliant behavior and actions are in place regarding all
applicable Clean Energy Code of Ethics Policies. Monitor suppliers,
logistics service providers, and contractors as appropriate to
ensure they work in a manner consistent with the company
guidelines.

Directly supervise a team of employees. Fulfill supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and
training employees: planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree, 7+ years of related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum
of 2years of management experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, interpret common scientific and technical
journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to
respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors,
regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability
to effectively present information to top management, public
groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of
technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal
with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Projects Enterprise, and Outlook. Knowledge of
accounting software and extensive spreadsheet analysis experience.
Experience with an integrated ERP or WMS a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CPIM Certification (through APICS), Lean, Six Sigma or other
Warehouse/Logistics certification(s) desired.
