Safran Water and Waste Systems Carson, California, United States Permanent Full-time High School diploma, A Level More than 3 years This position is part of the Logistics Team:
This position is responsible for coordination of sales orders and work orders internally with different departments. The position liaisons with external customers for retrieval of invoices and necessary paperwork. Responsibilities include timely processing of work orders and sales orders to meet customers' expectations and departmental goals. The position works in a team environment and participates in continuous improvements activities.

--- Analyzes the backlog/reports/MRP to prioritize orders for processing in timely manner
--- Releases Manufacturing Orders for allocation and printing
--- Performs all Logistics related transaction including, creation of bill of lading, commercial invoices, or any other shipping documentation
--- Coordinates with internal and external customers to resolve any issues, provide advance notifications, and retrieve invoices or related paperwork
--- Tracks orders as per Customer Service or any other internal functions requests
--- Responsible for accurate and timely transactions of all assigned orders in the system to ensure OTD goals are met.
--- Creates excel reports to track progress and provide analysis on turnaround times and efficiency
--- Tracks departmental KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
--- Performs other duties as assignedJob RequirementsDescribe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which your position requires.
--- Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic
--- Knowledge of work order generation and stockroom kit pull operations
--- Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operations and shipping/receiving
--- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001:2008
--- Ability to organize tasks and take initiative
--- Ability to work with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives
--- Ability to operate PC with knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software packages

Education and Experience:
--- High School diploma/Associates degree from a recognized institution and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent professional experience

Physical Requirements:
--- Ability to lift about 25 pounds
--- Ability to walk throughout the facility

This is an ITAR compliant facility; the candidate must be a US citizen or a Permanent resident of US Number of countries where Safran is located
