The Distribution Manager will be responsible to support the Director of Distribution Operations and the day-to-day 3PL fulfillment operations. This will encompass B2B and B2C sales channels, kitting schedules and productivity metrics across multiple 3PL partners, sites, and regions and internal business partners. In addition to having an active role in the daily operations, this person will help project manage new customers onboarding (ensure compliance standards are met, meet deadlines, etc.), support international expansion, drive continuous improvement, coordinate QBRs, audit/reconcile invoices, and develop/manage KPI reporting and analytics. This person, in partnership with many departments, will be responsible for driving operational excellence as it relates to the handling and movement of Chemical Guys inventory throughout the Supply Chain. • Responsible for the operational performance of the fulfillment and logistics network supporting ecomm, retail, distributor and international sales channels.
• Support organization with daily interaction/communication between 3PLs, Supply Chain, and Business/Sales/Marketing Teams.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts with our 3PL(s) to maximize customer service, productivity, and minimize costs.
• Support customer onboarding, 3PL integration, international expansion projects, invoice management, and KPI development.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support kitting operations and ensure inventory transactions/accuracy with Inventory Control.
• Document SOPs to ensure standardization of process within the warehouse operations environment and across multi-site / multi-partner environments.
• Develop, track, and analyze key metrics; develop action plans to address any deficiencies, and continue to elevate the expectations and results.
• Work closely with Inventory Control to ensure aging, excess and obsolete inventory is identified and action plans are implemented to facilitate movement.
• Develop a working relationship with our 3PL partner(s) that will manage daily execution of the operation in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Research, design and implement innovative technology, packaging enhancements, operating processes and procedures that will foster improvement of the logistics operations and service.
  Education and/or Experience
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent area.
  • 4-8 years of experience managing a multi-facility, high volume in-house or 3PL relationship supporting an omni-channel business.
  • Strong background in omni-channel fulfillment operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of both Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; preferred experience with Manhattan Scale (WMS), Blue Yonder (WMS), and Oracle Fusion (ERP).
  • Experience working with IT team to implement and develop system solutions to address various operations issues including inventory management, order allocations, etc.
  • Complete understanding of supply chain partner integrations utilizing EDI and API connections.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop excellent working relationships at various levels across the organization and with 3rd party service providers.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects successfully with a strong winning mindset to achieve goals.
