Position Overview: The Dock Gateway Agent is responsible for processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring operational excellence, high efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day: Maintain appropriate record keeping of all CFS cargo documents. Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest. Check in/load out international freight. Put freight away in designated areas/CFS. Support in CCFS process, ensure that screening is conducted accurately and within the specs of compliance. Dim and re-weigh cargo as directed, basic math skills required. Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies. Drive sit down fork lift (electrical or propane) in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload trucks. All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary. Exhibits strong typing skills/or data entry skills. Must be detail oriented and able to work in fast pace, high volume environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations. Excellent communication skills.
