AIR EXPORT AGENT
International Logistics Co. looking to fill a position in the Carson CA office
This position will work onsite coordinating all Air freight - Export shipments.
Ideal candidates have Air Export experience with an Int'l freight forwarder.

• 
  Location: Carson, CA
  Pay: $55,000-60,000 will depend on experience
  Job Type: Temp- Hire
  Schedule: Mon-Fri Work onsite no remote option

  KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
• Arrange pickup / delivery with trucking companies, issue invoices and monthly reports.
  
• Close bills of lading. Print all Necessary Documents.
  
• Provide Warehouse with loading documentation.
  
• Perform Export Clearance
  
• Check for any special requirements in documents/cargo receipt.
  
• Contact customers to advise shipment status or to obtain shipment information.
  
• Ensure that file contains all necessary document copies in proper sequence.
  
• Ensure that payable / receivable docs are complete and forwarded within time constraints.
  
• Trace shipment through transit - to final destination.
  
  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  
• Air Export - Freight Forwarding experience
  
• Solid understanding of Airfreight Export Documentation requirements and Customs procedures
  
• MS Office Word, Outlook and Excel proficient
  
• Cargowise Experience a plus
  
• Excellent communication skills, Highly organized, Excellent attention to details
