Job Description Department: Warehouse Status: Nonexempt Summary: Using a forklift, ensure all orders are picked accurately while meeting company quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operate Forklift/Clamp truck in a safe manner Perform equipment & safety checks prior to start of shift Ensure each pallet/roll is accurately picked and loaded onto the correct trailer according to the pick list Ensure that every load with a stop off is properly separated with CAUTION tape to divide the stops See that each pallet or roll has a shipping label Check to see that all freight shipped meets the company quality standards Inspect all trailers for damages and cleanliness prior to loading by the loader Works under direct supervision Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Communication Ability to read, write, and speak English Quality Management Maintains quality standards in the day-to-day operations.
