Manager, Business Development

The Business Development Manager is responsible for business
development and revenue growth of three existing multi-client
warehouse locations in the Los Angeles County region. This will be
accomplished by collaborating with the Strategic Account Executive
or developing and selling directly to prospects while successfully
executing the sales process to generate revenue growth through the
initiation and development of both new and existing customers at
designated Penske Multi-Client (PMC) Warehouse locations. In
addition, the role requires managing and perhaps growing existing
accounts as needed and report to the VP of Sales for the purposes
of driving profitability and retention. This position requires a
self-motivated person with a strong sales aptitude and a passion
for providing the highest customer service.
--- Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline
of potential customers that meet or exceed established quotas by
seeking out new business opportunities and chasing down leads from
--- Identify and propose services to customers that will translate
into a closed, contracted business deal.
--- Act as subject matter expert for customers - explain services
and answer questions, providing excellent support and customer
--- Account management - work with existing customers at our
targeted sites on growth opportunities.
--- Other projects as assigned by the Manager
--- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing is
--- 5 years of selling experience required, at least 2 years'
experience selling in a public warehouse and/or distribution
--- Skilled in strategic or consultative selling techniques.
--- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and
