Starting Pay: $19.50 - 21.00 per hour

What we need from you:
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Inspect processes and procedures that regards machinery and
ensure good health and safety practice
- Patrol the production line and check if workers follow safety
rules
- Conduct daily safety training for new and current
employees
- Conduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly,
quarterly, yearly, etc)
- Carry out examinations of machinery, working environments and
structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and
taking photographs and samples where necessary
- Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment,
such as ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and
clothing
- Investigate precautions taken to prevent industrial
diseases
- Investigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or
with potentially harmful substances
- Investigate accidents and complaints and determining if there
has been a breach of health and safety law
- Report on results of inspections and investigations
- Providing safety support to plant employees
- Other assignments as required
Qualification
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Production experience preferred
- Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Working Condition
- Able to tolerate extreme temperature in freezers
