Description If you're an efficient worker with experience as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional, Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for you to consider. You will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. How you will make an impact

  Test documents and codes
  
  
• 
  Take care of payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
  
  
• 
  Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
  
  
• 
  Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
  
  
• 
  Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
  
  
• 
  Promote, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
  
  
• 
  Offer information to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
  
  
• 
  Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in different ledgers Requirements - Efficient in ERP systems
  
  
• 
  Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  
  
• 
  Deep understanding of Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics
  
  
• 
  Command of Dynamics GP
  
  
• 
  AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
  
  
• 
  1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
  
  
• 
  Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  
  
• 
  Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
  
  
• 
  Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
