Security Clearance: Top Secret Job Description: Lead team responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of the base operating system and all support libraries, components, and application dependencies. - Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional team to manage web, application, and database-related components.
• Implement, maintain, document, and test the backup & recovery strategies.
• Initiate requests for server provisioning when additional servers are required for hosting databases.
• Install, configure and upgrade database server software and related products.
• Maintain and enforce naming standards for database objects such as table spaces, tables, indexes & views.
• Maintain the integrity of the data in all databases.
• Monitor database performance and resolve performance issues.
• Move, rebuild, or change database objects as required in supported environments.
• Perform database maintenance functions.
• Perform database migrations.
• Perform database optimization.
• Perform database health checks (which include health reports as needed) and take corrective measures where appropriate.
• Assist in resolving production database issues.
• Upgrade/migrate databases to current release levels.
• Work and resolve applicable Tier III incidents and problems, and work to resolve service requests annotating work and results in applicable ITSM/Help Desk tools. Required Qualifications: -
  • Bachelors degree Six years field related experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of senior-level experience in Oracle Database, and Oracle Grid Controllers Database in an enterprise environment supporting over 10K users, with primary and stand-by sites, and multiple databases.
  • Must possess at least one of the below Certifications (IAT II):
    • CCNA Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+
    • CND
    • SSCP Preferred Certifications:
      • Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified
