          Duties
          • Plans, directs and implements in-plant Quality Assurance Programs for contracts assigned to the Contract Management Office (CMO).
          • Guides, motivates, and oversees the activities of individuals and teams with focus on project/program issues. Assumes ownership of processes and products, as appropriate.
          • Develops, integrates, and implements solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
          • Introduces and/or implements innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or programs.
          • Anticipates problems, develops sound solutions and action plans to ensure program/mission accomplishment.
          • Effectively accomplishes multiple projects' and programs' goals within established guidelines. Help

              To qualify for a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

              A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-03 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes:
              • Providing technical advice to implementation contractor's manufacturing and quality assurance processes and systems that impact the quality of products.
              • Implementing continuous improvement techniques on contractor performance to assure compliance with all contractual requirements. Education

                Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
