Possesses the following electrical skills:
Ability to identify motor starters by class and size.
Identifies proper overload and fuse sizes for application
Has the ability to use a volt meter properly
Uses amp probe to diagnose motor overload
Ability to wire start/stop 3-wire circuit controller
Reads motor nameplates and wire motors with correct overload and
Connects simple inverters to motors
Demonstrates the proper way to check fuses using an ohmmeter and
check continuity of wires.
Understands simple electrical schematics Possesses the following
Disassembles, reassembles, and rebuilds gearboxes, valves,
cylinders, solenoid valves, pumps, and other factory-related
