Job Description Job Description Job Title: Microscopist Job Description As a Microscopist, you will operate a microscope and utilize a 3D laser scanning microscope. You will assist the manufacturing team in recording sensor data and be responsible for assembling, cataloging, imaging, and preparing biosensors for evaluation. Additionally, you will prepare solutions for various testing activities, maintain and calibrate microscopes as needed, and perform incoming inspections. Responsibilities Operate and maintain microscopes, including 3D laser scanning microscopes. Assist in recording and analyzing sensor data. Assemble, catalog, image, and prepare biosensors for evaluation. Prepare solutions for testing activities. Perform quality control inspections and ensure parts meet specifications. Document and follow stringent quality control measures to improve consistency. Essential Skills Experience operating a microscope and using it in various environments. Knowledge of microscopy and medical standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a regulated environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in documentation and quality assurance. Ability to follow stringent quality control measures. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
