Job Description:

KROST provides traditional tax and accounting services as well as M&A, Capital Markets Consulting, Wealth Management, Data Analytics, and Tax Specialty Services such as Cost Segregation, R&D Tax Credits, Green Building Tax Incentives, Transfer Pricing, IC-DISC, and more. Recently, KROST has become local experts on PPP Loans and Employee Retention Tax Credits, serving clients who experienced financial hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic. Essential Functions

• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, non-profits, partnerships, C corps, S corps
• Analyze tax implications for individual/business tax returns
• Responsible for quarterly and year-end tax planning
• Scheduling responsibilities for tax team
• Mentor tax staff and seniors
• Collaborate with other departments to make sure firm goals are met as a whole
• Review tax proposals and submit to potential clients
• Participates in business development activity
• Identifies opportunities for the development of new services
• Identify organization or association to network and develop business contacts
• Participate in client visitations
• Other duties as assigned Education & Experience
  • Current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting
  • 8+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Master of Science degree in Taxation or JD highly preferred
  • Proficient in Profx, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
