Associate Director, Product Marketing

As Associate Director of Product Marketing, you will lead a team of
Product Marketing Managers working together to optimize the growth
of our products throughout the Clinical Effectiveness portfolio.
This includes the provider-facing assets within the flagship
products mentioned above as well as emerging opportunities related
to new products, product models, segments, and partnerships.
For this role, we seek someone who shares our passion for improving
patient outcomes and who is energized when solving complex
problems. As a leader on the Product Marketing team, you will own
the evolution of messaging for our provider market, develop
compelling positioning for new and existing products, monitor
market and competitive trends, partner with product management to
create strategic value-based messaging and lead the creation of
deep provider customer relationships. You will work with new
products as part of downstream efforts of launching new solutions
in collaboration with the training and marketing teams, and
existing portfolio products across the growth and development
lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Refine and apply expertise in the provider market to create
powerful communications about our product portfolio.
Lead portfolio messaging strategy to grow our footprint in the
provider market.
Drive collaboration with leadership within the marketing team to
ensure messaging is in sync with strategy, product direction and
timing of key launches and releases.
Actively monitor healthcare trends, policies, and dynamics related
to health systems and providers. Communicate and apply those
insights effectively to inform product, positioning, and
go-to-market strategy.
Engage with customers and customer-facing teams to deeply
understand your buyers, users, segments, sales process, and use
cases.
Forge relationships with customers to regularly garner feedback and
gain trusted insights into their challenges.
Guide direct reports and serve as mentor to other product marketers
in transitioning to value-based marketing messaging and
storytelling principles.
Strategically apply competitive analysis, communicate critical
insights to the team, and apply relevant findings to impact
positioning, messaging, and sales effectiveness.
Develop deep relationships within the sales leadership team to
ensure sales strategy and tactics are in line with portfolio
strategy. Lead creation of new programs or resources as needed in
support of sales/renewals.
Identify research needs and lead partnerships with internal
resources and external vendors to answer tough questions in the
market.
Synthesize and communicate updates about new entrants and business
models that would be relevant to team discussions about delivery
models, packaging, partnerships, and competition.
For emerging solutions, product models, and/or segments, you are a
critical partner to product management leaders. Contribute to value
proposition development, drive early customer testing of the
message, craft key areas of the business cases to inform
investment, develop personas for target markets, and more.
Lead the market sizing and segmentation efforts of target provider
sub-segments to ensure optimal packaging, pricing and
positioning.
Lead the synthesis of data to create and update product pricing
strategy; partner with stakeholders to operationalize pricing.
Demonstrate leadership and expertise in meetings with executive
management when the team discusses the overarching patient strategy
for the division.
Develop effective messaging and positioning to differentiate
provider solutions across Clinical Effectiveness division and
communicate the benefits to multiple buyer types.
Create compelling marketing assets to tell the product story to
internal and external audiences, in collaboration with the
marketing communications team.
Lead the launch of products and releases by driving a
cross-functional team to deliver and execute an effective
go-to-market plan.
Monitor the success of provider launches and releases throughout
the CE portfolio, adjusting go-to-market or product strategy to
reflect quantitative and insights.
Participate in initiatives that span across the Clinical
Effectiveness teams, products, and geographies to promote the
success of the division worldwide.
Champion a positive team culture by building bridges, holding
ourselves accountable, and fostering a culture of diversity and
inclusion.
Serve as an ambassador for the work we do to support providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or
marketing
5+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in healthcare
technology
4+ years' experience managing teams
Experience in software, solutions, or services in a B2B market
4+ years in roles that are customer facing
Previous experience and ability to manage projects involving
cross-functional teams
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Experience bringing new products to market
Executive presence and confidence when in the spotlight
Ability to tell a story about the value of a product versus
communicating a set of features
Experience leading change & continuously raising the bar for
quality and outcomes
Excellent quantitative/analytical skills and ability to communicate
results
Oral communication and interpersonal skills that win hearts and
minds
Excellent writing skills and ability to create compelling
presentations
Time management, decision making and organization skills
Champion of team culture, and promoter of diversity and

Pragmatic Marketing training preferred
Travel: Up to 20% travel may be required
