Job Description:
Summary/Objective:The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible
for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable activities. This
position will lead team members in billing and cash applications,
operating in a fast-pace and growing environment. In addition to
being an integral part of the Finance team, this role works closely
with operations and FP&A regarding contract reviews, cash
budgeting and sales forecasting. Timely billing, cash applications
and collections efforts is essential in meeting the weekly
reporting requirements of the position. The salary range for this
position will be between: $85,000 - $95,000 (depending on your
background and experience).Essential Functions: To perform this job

functions.Manages the daily billing for the department's
activitiesIdentifies and assigns team members to customer
accountsHires trains, supervises, and evaluates the accounts
receivable department to ensure all deadlines and responsibilities
are metMonitors, reviews, and ensures accurate and timely
submission of weekly customer billingsEnsures timely recording of
customer payments; daily deposits of cash receiptsEnsures accuracy
of coding to general ledger accounts and includes detailed
description on billing statements as required by customer
requirementsReconciles the accounts receivable sub-ledger accounts
and agrees to accounts receivable month-end balance and cash
receipts to bankPrepares an analysis of accounts receivable
transactions to identify missing weekly billings, misapplication of
cash receipts, and other anomalies that may explain variances in
account balancesCoordinates setup of new accounts receivable with
operations/relationship managersExtensive ongoing communications of
customer accounts between multiple departments for accurate
production of work productTimely responds to customer
inquiriesOrganizes records of billings and depositsSet collection
objectives to improve cash flow and early identification of problem
accountsPrepares weekly customer aging reports for
managementEnsures all accounts receivable efforts are being
performed on delinquent customer accounts and tracked accordingly
with follow-up performed with a sense of urgencySends out monthly
customer aging statementsNegotiate with clients in non-payment
situation in partnership with managementPrepares monthly,
quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reportsMonitors and
assesses Accounts Receivable's department workload and reassigns as
necessary; cross train employeesContinuously evaluates and
implements systems and/or new procedures to streamline and improve
business processesEnsures proper coverage for vacation and absences
as neededPrepares and maintains department policies and procedures,
and desk instructionsParticipates in annual audits as assigned by

Education and ExperienceBS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance or
Business AdministrationProven work experience as an Accounts
Receivable Manage or Supervisor - five years minimumMeticulous

work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent time management
skillsExemplify good communication skill and ability to communicate
