Job DescriptionJoin our e-Commerce team in delivering the ultimate online customer experience. We're currently looking for an experienced and inspiring leader to serve as Director of Product Management, e-Commerce. In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to define vision and product strategy for solving customer needs across all platforms (B2C, B2B desktop, mobile web and iOS app). The position will lead road map development, product creation and expansion and evolution across the platform by distilling market trends, evaluating customer needs and being aware of the competitive landscape.
We are looking for an individual who has a strong understanding of customer needs and the business acumen to identify new and adjacent market opportunities that drive growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superb collaboration skills to coordinate the planning and implementation of work: from ingesting user reviews, surveys and a/b tests to integrating feedback from business and engineering stakeholders. The candidate will produce a road map of features to continuously improve the customer experience across all platforms.
This is a hybrid on-site/remote position-working as needed at our Carson, CA, headquarters and the remaining time from home.
A day at Lakeshore looks like this:

  • Developing, managing and executing the e-Commerce road map of features across all platforms (B2C & B2B desktop and mobile website, as well as iOS app)
  • Partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Retail, Sales and B2B teams and other stakeholders to oversee the creation, development and iteration of the road map
  • Managing the technology life cycle of new products, features or enhancements from conceptualization and product specification to performance review and release
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Product Managers
  • Managing the product development process by translating user testing and feedback into feature/function requirements
  • Interacting with other departments to understand their needs and to promote new products
  • Resolving escalated issues that arise from operations and require coordination with other departments
  • Collecting and contextualizing data, then using that information to make decisions
  • Presenting data-supported product solutions, objectives and KPIs to leaders and stakeholders
  • Soliciting feedback and evaluating the processes of competitors
    QualificationsGot the skills and experience? Here's what we're looking for:
    • 7+ years in product ownership and product management
    • 2+ years retail experience
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Ability to present to, influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization including senior leadership
    • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, negotiation and planning experience
    • Creative problem-solving, excellent decision-making and a strategic perspective
    • Web experience with specialized front-end products such as IBM WebSphere Commerce, Oracle ATG Web Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), SAP hybris and Magento is a plus
    • Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
    • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others
    • Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities
    • Strong project management, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
