Manufacturing Manager, Carson, CAGracoRoberts is proud to be the

composite materials, shop consumables, and more.SummaryThe
Manufacturing Manager provides leadership, direction, and resource
stewardship to GracoRoberts' Resin Formulators team. As the
operational leader for Resin Formulators, the Manufacturing Manager
is accountable to set and meet the manufacturing plan for the
business. This effort includes direct management of manufacturing,
scheduling, packaging, labeling, and quality control personnel. The
manufacturing plan must enable the company to set and meet key
performance indicators (KPIs) including financial metrics, customer
delivery and quality requirements, AS9100 compliance, and safety.
The Manufacturing Manager ensures that operational objectives
within Resin Formulators are aligned with GracoRoberts' overall
business objectives and promotes company culture and values with
the team. Finally, this leader promotes lean initiatives and
constantly works to improve workflow and remove waste from our
processes.In addition to overseeing the daily operational rhythm,
the Manufacturing Manager is actively engaged and involved with the
development and execution of the strategic roadmap for the Resin
Formulators business. An eye must be lent to ensure that processes,
systems, and people are positioned to scale the business
model.Reporting Relationship---Vice President of OperationsPrimary
Responsibilities---Direct management responsibility for Resin
Formulators planning, production, packaging, labeling and quality
control functions and personnel.---Collaborate with Leadership in
developing and executing the strategic roadmap for the Resin
Formulators business.---Oversee scheduling for Resin Formulators
production and distribution repack work orders.---Determine
manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production
demand. Plan capital expenditures to ensure adequate capacity in
near- and long-term horizons.---Optimize equipment utilization and
assess production capacity requirements. Develop business cases to
support expanded capacity needs in labor, equipment.---Enforce
company personnel policies for assigned staff, including hiring and
termination, performance reviews, and time clock review and
approval.---Maintain vigilance and sustain an effective safety
program for all staff employees in coordination with company
programs and initiatives, including enforcing Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) requirements, good housekeeping, and a safe and
clean work environment.---Ensure Resin Formulators complies with
all environmental and regulatory requirements across all levels of
government (Federal, State, Local).---Identify opportunities for
process optimization and cost reduction in the manufacturing
environment.---Optimize inventory throughout the manufacturing
process including raw material, WIP, and finished
goods.---Establish, maintain, and effectively communicate
department goals and objectives for direct reports.---Develop,
maintain, and ensure effectiveness of the Resin Formulators staff
training program.---Maintain the preventive maintenance and
calibration programs for manufacturing, packaging and related
equipment.---Responsible for all general facility
maintenance.---Coordinate cycle counts of company inventory as it
relates to manufacturing, packaging, and other related
materials.---Maintain adherence to Quality Management System
requirements for the department, including the development,
coordination, review and approval of Work Instructions and Quality
Records.---Responsible for helping to complete the expansion of
Resin Formulators into a new space.---Other duties as assigned by

Experience---Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience.---Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
with experience managing direct reports in a manufacturing and
warehouse environment.---Strong, effective leadership skills.
Ability to think tactically and strategically.---Technical
knowledge in adhesives manufacturing strongly preferred, if not
required.---Process-oriented.---Possess mechanical and technical
acumen.---Experience in chemical manufacturing and formulation a
plus.---Aerospace, Automotive, or High-Tech industry experience a
plus.---Excellent verbal and written communication skills.---Fully
competent in Microsoft Office Suite software and personal computer

conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations,
including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you
