Job Description:
Location: Carson, CA Description: Our client is currently
seeking a Director of Operations in Carson,CA.The new Director of
Operations with be a manufacturing expert with a strong track
record of leadership who can help us deliver the next phase of
growth for this business. TPM experience is a must.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all manufacturing overhead and
direct labor costs in the P&L related to Production,
maintenance and others as assigned. Works close with the General
manger to drive towards Operational and Manufacturing excellence
and overall business strategy. Participates in the development of
operational budgets, as well as an annual plan to address capital
expenditures. Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
Actively participates in plant engineering projects and conducts
feasibility studies regarding plant operations, equipment,
facilities, and personnel. Makes recommendations for continuous
improvement and cost reductions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in business administration, industrial
engineering or related field. 10 or more years of experience
managing manufacturing plants. Knowledge of
industrial/manufacturing engineering. Strong employee relations
skills.
