Role Summary The Manufacturing Engineering team at Rivian is broadly responsible for the rapid deployment and scale-up of-- Rivian's --production capacity around the world.-- This Technical Program Manager role is positioned uniquely to support the Test Engineering and Factory Data teams within Manufacturing Engineering --in building an end-to-end data gathering,-- warehousing,-- and analysis pipeline. --We then use the resulting models to drive decision making-- or performance improvement throughout the factory. Responsibilities

• Work with the --larger Manufacturing Engineering team to-- identify all-- test and data-- needs across-- Rivian's --manufacturing lifecycle, from equipment design to steady state production.--
• Collaborate with the Test Engineering and Factory Data teams to distill these needs into a-- clear program roadmap --and then break down into-- detailed user stories for development .-- Work with the rest of the Technical Program Management team-- to-- maintain-- critical path --alignment.
• Drive progress for the Test Engineering and Factory Data roadmap. H ighlight and --actively troubleshoot-- risks or misses against the critical path.
• Actively cultivate Rivian company culture within the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Help fill organizational gaps to keep the critical path on track.-- Examples-- include :
• --Resolve a portion of ad-hoc requests by writing SQL queries or making pull requests to our codebase
• Managing-- equipment suppliers --or --install ation-- contractors
• Facilitating tactical stand-ups or-- problem-solving --activity Qualifications
  • 3 + --years --in-- a test engineering or process engineering role, using --data to drive-- improvements --on the manufacturing floor .
  • 2+ years-- in a project manager role facilitating a cross-functional team --to deliver --projects .
  • Prior e xperience-- in high volume manufacturing of complex electromechanical assemblies.
  • Experience in designing and fielding electromechanical functional test equipment a plus.
  • Experience managing-- 3 rd --party resources --such as contractors, skilled tradespeople, or suppliers.
  • BS in an engineering discipline, preferably-- Software-- or-- Electrical .
  • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills .
