Job Description:
Position Description Summary:Direct and support all activities
relating to customs services and product offerings within the US to
assure meeting with corporate objectives.Establish policies that
affect overall operation of these products within the company
including development and implementation of new product and
location offerings, corporate operational standards, training
programs, and sales support for potential new business.Responsible
for ensuring regulatory compliance in customs brokerage, FTZ, and
carrier activities and fulfill responsibility of corporate customs
brokerage license holder as defined in U.S.Code of Federal
Regulations.Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended
to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.It
is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):* Support and
direct branch personnel in handling of import cargo.* Develop and
maintain corporate procedures for all operational and customs
compliance standards.* Establish corporate guidelines on broker
compliance and conduct in-house regulatory audits.* Act as main
corporate liaison with U.S.Customs on all compliance issues and
corporate broker and carrier audits.* Develop ongoing training
programs for branch personnel and management on operational and
compliance procedures and standards.* Develop and measure adherence
to all corporate compliance standards via KPIs (Key Performance
Indicator).* Develop strategic alliances with other customs
broker(s), consultants, and third-party providers to enhance
product offerings.* Manage all carrier and broker customs bonds to
ensure sufficiency.* Manage and mitigate all U.S.Customs broker and
carrier penalties for all branches nationwide.* Manage all
corporate customs compliance record keeping and powers of attorneys
to ensure regulatory compliance.* Account management of third-party
ABI customs brokerage and ISF software.* Develop and manage all
system requirements documentation and user system-acceptance
testing for customs brokerage and ISF software.* Automate and
maintain customer EDI requirements, specialized reports, client
parts databases, and other data management functions.* Manage new
customer system and operational implementations.* Partner with
sales and marketing to establish pricing and subject matter
material for new bid opportunities.The individual in this position

Requirements:Requirements:Knowledge and Skills (The following
minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain
the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):This is Vice
President position.Exceptional interpersonal, analytical,
problem-solving, communication, leadership, and strategic skills
required.Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.Advanced degree
or equivalent preferred.Licensed Custom Broker (min.5
years).Minimum 10 years transportation experience (or minimum 10
years experience in import brokerage).Generally prefer 6 years of
