for an Audio Visual Command Meeting Engineer to support the DLA in
San Diego, California. *May have to travel throughout Zone D: •
Zone D - OCONUS – Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Italy, Middle East,
Germany, Korea* Job Summary: The Audio-Visual Command Meeting
(AVCM) Engineers will be travel within their respective zones and
will perform augmentation support to other zones as needed.
Responsibilities: Supports Senior Executive Services (SES) and
Military officers conference and meeting spaces. Install, pull,
terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors,
and interfaces. Ability to install projection screens, plasma TVs
and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on
client sites. Read blueprints and wire AV racks. Serves as Lead
Audio Visual Engineer. Manage AV projects with various models and
makes of equipment. Has a thorough understanding and working
knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems,
networks, hardware, and software. Know and understand all wire and
connector types on all AV related cables. Experience with Audio
Visual equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers,
codecs, interfaces, and room design. Will access classified areas
to support Enterprise JWICS with installation and troubleshooting
system hardware. Qualifications, Certification and Clearance
Requirements: Certification requires a minimum of one of the
following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed
Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or AVIXA CTS
certification Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience and
experience working with: Crestron Cisco Biamp/AMX Extron Requires
