Job Description:

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:

--- Concept CAD design and packaging studies for EV charging systems development.

--- Design and revise production level parts used in on-vehicle and off-vehicle power electronics

components.

--- Create and revise 2D drawings of components used in the power electronics system applying ANSI

Y14.5 standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

--- Manage CAD BOM structure in Catia for parts and assemblies.

--- Generate assembly illustrations using CATIA and other office tools to help engineers establish

documentation for assembly of power electronics components.

--- Design prototype assembly and test fixtures to support the build teams.

--- Support DREs to release components in Enovia PLM.

--- Participate in Problem Issue and Resolution Meetings.

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

--- Minimum 3 years of experience using CATIA (V6 preferred). NX and Solidworks experience will be

considered. Enovia or similar PLM experience for revision and release workflow is required.

--- Experience and knowledge in sheet metal design, injection molding, die casting, thermoformed

plastics.

--- Hands-on mechanical aptitude, knowledge of fasteners, and ability to apply DFM and DFA is critical.

--- Experience creating drawings and a high degree of competence with GD&T.

--- Proficient with Microsoft office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

--- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but equivalent qualifications or experience considered.

--- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

--- Experience working in an EV start-up environment is a plus.

--- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

--- Must be a highly motivated and scrappy self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal

supervision and direction.
