The position requires individuals who are fully credentialed and prepared to begin within 2-3 days notice. This role is on a contract basis throughout the school year (CSY). Key Qualifications: Minimum of 2 full years' experience as a school paraprofessional, behavioral technician (BT), registered behavioral technician (RBT), or a closely related role Comprehensive special education (SPED) experience during the 2-year period in schools is mandatory; no exceptions Willingness to support students across any age group or caseload Comfort and ability to assist with toileting and diapering duties as needed Dependable attendance and punctuality with strict adherence to sign-in and sign-out procedures for timesheet verification and timely payment Responsibilities: Provide direct instructional support and classroom assistance to students with special needs Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment Assist with personal care routines, including toileting and diapering when required Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress as required by the contract terms Benefits & Highlights: Immediate placement opportunities for candidates who meet qualifications and are ready to start on short notice Gain valuable experience in a diverse K-12 educational setting within Simi Valley Flexible contract duration aligned with the school year calendar Please note this role is part of a waitlist process, and placement is not guaranteed immediately.
