Summary
Hulu's Marketing Planning & Analysis (MP&A) team is seeking a
Content Marketing Analytics Analyst to join our team. As an
analyst, you will apply data and analytics to address our biggest
challenges in Content Marketing. Your responsibilities will include
leading analytics initiatives, providing insights and strategic
recommendations, and ensuring high business value in your analyses.
You will promote data-driven decision-making as a key value driver
and competitive advantage across Marketing and the organization.
The ideal candidate has experience applying advanced analytics to
inform strategy, is detail-oriented, problem-solving, curious, and
innovative. If you are passionate about data-driven
decision-making, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Analyze customer and content data to assess how Content
Marketing impacts business goals, identify growth opportunities,
and guide strategy.
- Produce advanced audience analyses using online and offline
data, utilizing tools like SQL to support Content Marketing
efforts.
- Conduct multivariate analyses related to acquisition,
retention, and engagement to identify effective tactics and
understand why they work.
- Anticipate analytical needs, design diagnostic solutions, and
collaborate with Data teams to deliver insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards for key
metrics to track progress and support management
reporting.
- Develop analyses using statistical methods (Regression,
clustering, A/B testing) to identify high-impact opportunities in
campaign targeting.
What to bring
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and strategic
recommendations for marketing initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, or
related field; graduate degree preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and applying data to
decision-making, especially in marketing effectiveness.
- Experience with data collection, validation, analysis,
visualization, and summarization.
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data integration pipelines,
staging, incremental loading, data quality, and business
logic.
- Experience with SQL, Looker, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or
similar BI tools.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Strong storytelling skills with data, both verbally and
visually.
The salary range in California is $95,300 - $127,800 per year, with actual offers depending on various factors including experience and location. Benefits include bonuses, incentives, and comprehensive health and financial benefits.
