Job Description:
Dermalogica is seeking a talented Media Buyer & Analyst. This
digital expert will be responsible for planning and buying all
brand media across channels to drive qualified traffic to the brand
with a scientific approach. Our ideal candidate is analytical,
creative, methodical, and passionate about linking qualified
audiences and paid advertising to orchestrate incremental brand
awareness and e-commerce growth.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:* Partner with the Brand and Ecommerce teams to
plan, launch, and iterate on campaigns to drive brand awareness and
conversion from paid channels including Social, Search, Display,
and Affiliate.* Identify and test new media channels aligned with
brand objectives.* Build the funnel, audiences, and relevant media
to bridge the gap between driving a first-time visit, first
purchase, repeat purchase, and lifetime value.* Use channel
attribution to measure incrementality and effectively allocate
budget.* Leverage first party data from order history and brand
tools such as Face Mapping to target customers with precise
messaging that speaks to their needs through education,
personalization and human touch.* Coordinate with the Ecommerce
team to identify and match audiences with unique landing
pages/experiences to ensure we are maximizing growth and optimizing
in real-time.* Collaborate with the creative team on ad format best
practices, test variations, and feedback results.* Collaborate with
the Brand and Ecommerce teams on suggested ad copy and content
variations.* Maintain product feeds so the product catalog is
optimized for all ad types across paid channels.* Enroll in
platform beta programs to ensure we are experimenting with new ad
formats* Mine existing data/behavior to identify new tactics to
test, learn, and iterate on.* Responsible for brand media budgets.
Oversee planning of media budgets inclusive of spend allocations,
tracking, and reconciliation. Budget to be informed by data with a
goal to optimize spending.* Participate in calls with social
platform reps to stay current and ahead of new trends in the paid
social and digital space.* Develop media recaps and present to
Brand and Ecommerce teams on campaign performance on a regular
basis.Education and/or Experience:* BA or BS degree preferred and
5+ years of DTC media buying experience* In-depth knowledge of the
various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid
search, retargeting, social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram,
Youtube, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and
placement networks* Hands-on experience in handling marketing
budgets and forecasting/reporting results* A proven track record of
successful marketing campaigns* Excellent organizational and time
management skills* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving
skills* High standards of excellence and attention to detail*
