Job Description A long-established international distributor of innovative architectural hardware and industrial components seeks a reliable Accounting Clerk to join their team in Carson, CA. Stable and established company that values innovation and details $ 25 - 28 per hour (non-exempt), depending on experience level 100% coverage for medical, vision, dental 401K with matching Paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave Requirements of the Accounting Clerk: 2 years of experience in accounts payable A/P, accounts receivable A/R, and/or credit Working knowledge of SAGE 300 or other enterprise accounting software is a major plus Strong proficiency in MS Office Suites, particularly Excel Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills Reliable, accountable, team-oriented, career-minded Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor---s degree in Accounting or related is preferred Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk: Daily journal entries and processing of A/P and A/R transactions Maintain general ledger, balance sheets, and income statements Analyze and balance journals and accounts for month-end closing Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve payment or credit issues Location: Carson, CA Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Accounting, Bookkeeping, Bookkeeper, Accounting Coordinator, Accounting Assistant, accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheet, credit, ERP, expense reports, finance, general ledger, income statements, journal entries, Microsoft Excel, month-end closing, SAGE 300, year-end closing, medical equipment, transportation, aerospace, residential, interior design, furniture design, hospitality, gaming, design, mechanical engineering, woodworking, remodeling.
