Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Storage Architect for a remote
position.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintenance, security, and availability of Storage
and SAN infrastructure based on business requirements
Perform complex provisioning, maintenance, data replication,
disaster recovery, and documentation for Open Systems Storage and
Backup environments
Mentor junior team members, develop ITIL procedures, and work on
Infrastructure Building Blocks based Reference Architectures
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer
Science or associated experience
5-10 years of experience in SAN/Storage/Backup Administration with
3-5 years as an architect
Oracle ZFS Storage Certified Implementation Specialist
certification preferred
In-depth knowledge of storage concepts, architecture, and Fiber
Channel architecture
Comprehensive understanding of IT processes, best practices related
to backup and recovery, and SAN/NAS technology
